Data Agreement
Plain English, one page. This covers how PurposeForce (Gratora) handles the data and materials you send us for your campaign. It is written to be readable, not to hide anything. If your organization needs this on your own paper or in a formal contract, we will sign yours.
Parties: PurposeForce (“we,” “us”) and your organization (“you”), for the Gratora campaign described in your order.
1. What data we receive
- Your donor export: names, email addresses, giving history, and related donor fields you choose to include.
- Your campaign materials: your impact story, photos, your executive director's video clip, logo, and brand color.
2. What we use it for
We use your data and materials only to produce and deliver this specific campaign: mapping and cleaning the donor file, rendering each donor's video, building each donor's landing page, delivering the files and links back to you, and measuring views and give-again clicks for your results report. We use it for nothing else.
3. We never contact your donors
We do not email, call, or otherwise reach out to your donors. You send the videos through your own email tool. Deliverability, consent, and CAN-SPAM compliance stay entirely with you, in your existing system, exactly as they are today. We never sell, share, rent, or reuse your donor data.
4. We delete it
We delete your donor file and campaign source materials within 60 days after we deliver your campaign. The only thing we retain past that is aggregate, non-identifying performance data (for example, overall view rate), which never identifies an individual donor. If you want deletion sooner, tell us and we will do it.
5. Security
We handle your data on access-controlled systems (isolated per organization), share it with no third parties beyond the rendering and hosting infrastructure needed to produce your campaign, and limit access to the operator running your campaign.
6. Your warranties
You confirm that:
- You have the right to share the donor data with us for this purpose.
- You have permission to use every photo and video clip you provide, including from any identifiable people in them.
- None of the materials you send contain data about minors.
7. Ownership
Your data, story, photos, logo, and finished videos are yours. We claim no ownership of your content or your donor relationships. We retain the underlying Gratora template and technology.
8. Term
This agreement covers the campaign in your order and ends when the campaign is delivered and the data is deleted per section 4. A future campaign is covered by a new order under these same terms.
